The Brant brings together sweeping East River and skyline views, a naturally light-filled space, and a thoughtful approach to sustainable design and operations.
Set at Stuyvesant Cove Park on the East River, we offer a modern venue that adapts to the occasion, from an intimate dinner to a full-day conference. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), it opens onto sweeping views of the East River and the Brooklyn and Queens waterfront. On-site solar and battery storage help to power it all.
The Space
The room is open and easy to shape, and thus it can be exactly as intimate or as grand as your event calls for.
1,200 square feet of indoor space
Indoor capacity: 86 guests; can be split with an on-site divider
Outdoor capacity: 150 guests
Up to 150 indoor guests with a Temporary Public Assembly permit from the NYC Department of Buildings
Weather permitting, events can extend into the native plant park and its outdoor amphitheater
Beautiful for receptions, dinners, weddings, conferences, presentations, and celebrations of every kind.

The Brant sits right on the East River at Stuyvesant Cove Park, the city's first all-native plant park and part of the coastal resiliency project now protecting Lower Manhattan. However your guests arrive, it's an easy trip:

The Brant is part of Solar One, an award-winning nonprofit that has run Stuyvesant Cove Park since 2004 and delivers environmental education, clean-energy job training, and solar assistance across New York City. Every event booked here helps fund that work: The pleasure of a gorgeous moment in time on the water thus also supports building a more sustainable and resilient city.
